Privacy overview

Your career information starts private

This plain-language overview explains how current AccessBridge Careers features handle member information. It describes the product as it works today.

Private by default

Profiles and files are account-scoped

Your profile, work history, résumé file, headshot, accommodation preferences, education choices, roadmap, and saved jobs are not public pages.

Explainable matching

Recommendations use bounded career signals

Matching can use your profile, work history, interests, preferences, and résumé-derived skills or experience. These signals help rank opportunities inside your account; they are not a public résumé.

Choice before AI

AI tools require specific consent

Before an AI feature sends anything to OpenAI, it explains what will be included and asks for consent. The Application Kit can send only the profile fields, work history, education, and approved résumé skill signals you select plus the verified job text. Account names, email addresses, uploaded files, accommodations, hobbies, and interests are excluded. Prompts, drafts, practice answers, and coaching results are not saved by AccessBridge Careers. Optional mock-interview recordings stay in your browser for private playback and are never uploaded or saved by the site.

Employer boundaries

Business accounts do not unlock member data

Employer discovery is inactive. Future access requires manual business verification, an active pilot, and member opt-in. Email addresses, résumé files, and private preference answers remain restricted.

Minimal traffic counts

Site activity is counted in aggregate

The owner dashboard stores daily route totals by audience type. It does not build a page-view history tied to an individual member.

Your account choices

Export or delete your account

Account settings provide a private data export and safeguarded self-service deletion. Deletion requires password and username verification, removes sign-in access immediately, and locks member data for a 30-day owner-assisted recovery window before permanent purging. A restoration requires a one-time link sent to the original email address and a new sign-in password.

Keep highly sensitive records out

Do not send passwords, Social Security numbers, government IDs, medical records, banking details, or account credentials through profiles, support forms, or AI tools.
